HI Jim Jam... I wasn't able to put to much details on this photo cause of the low resolution... however I tried to put out some details on the eyebrows, hair highlights, and the eyes...

Hope you can see the difference ...

Thanks i.ilievski that does help. I am particularly interested in what you did to the eyes. Can you fill us in on exactly what you did? As I said before my interest is greatest in Photo Art but I do appreciate the art of retouching and you, Charlottie and POETIC IMAGE have given great examples as to what can be achieved in that art.

I'm glad that you like my work.... Thank you...

Eye work: Basically is just dodge and burn, by switching the mode to highlights and shadows, depending on what are you doing, dark areas of the iris or light areas... the trick is to follow where the natural lights go and just to highlight it or to make it darker... There isn't more to it, but you always must remember that you are working on a person eye, and like elders say "eyes are the mirror of the soul" ... so must be very careful what are you highlighting or darkening or the person will have look unnatural eye look...

and it's nice to put some fake eyelashes .... but that depends on what kind of retouch you are doing...
On my experience... I'm doing retouch basically for graduate students for the past 5 years, and have done over 200 000 faces, so I must say that eyelashes are adored by teen girls...

I've attached an eye sample, Hope It may give you some clue....
