My first attempt at "Dior skin"

Well, I used the "Dior skin" tutorial as a guide anyway. I've posted the original and two variations. Not sure which one I prefer yet. Critiques might help me see the errors of my ways.

Love this site. It's an endless source of new info! Thanks for taking a look at my stuff.

the images you posted are to small. post a bigger image, it is better to evaluate.

I like the first variation, the second one looks too gray to me. Hope this helps some.

I'm with Nomi... love the tones on the second one a lot. The third is too bland and does not pop as much.

Did you do anything special to the eyes? They look very beautiful and crystal like.

I think you did a great job on the images.

Did you use the RTP tutorial to do this?

As for the eyes, well I think I just used the basic dodge tool and lightened them up a bit around the iris. Helped them pop a little more.

Yes, I used the RTP tutorial. Most of the stuff I'm doing with retouching I learned on RTP.
