Mother's Day present

Mother's day is getting closer here in Finland, and i was wondering if there is anything i should try to improve in this picture:

And i was thinking about printing this in A3 size. (original .tiff is of course much bigger)

Re: Mother's Day present

If your intent was restoration only, stop. The restoration work is excellent, much better than I could ever hope to do myself. My compliments.

Consider the changes I made as food for thought that in my opinion make the final result a little more interesting:
* Crop and rotate using Crop tool. Cropped to eliminate the distracting pole on the left and remove some of the foreground grassy area. Rotated CW a few degrees to make the side of the building parallel to the right edge.
* Lighten right side of her face just a little to open up shadow areas around eyes.
* Spliced in some clouds to give the sky a little interest.

Re: Mother's Day present

Indeed you did a very good restoration work.
My only concern would be the very white sky that you could tone it down.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Adding clouds surely make this picture more interesting, and I'm gonna try adding them later. I think i'm gonna print this as it is now, and later try to make a totally new "spiced" version.
