my first jewelry

Good day to all!

please help how i could improve this. This is the first time I tried retouching jewelry and Im not really sure what the process is.

Hi Tom,

You think well what U did but first of all the foto of a jewel should be taken in a softbox to avoid that kind of shades what you got in the front, if you have just one pict it's ok to play with but ..., what else i can say give it a bit more color

Tom,

You just have to use the search function to get what you want, IMHO pros use same methods what anyone can use, matter is about surfaces and materials and light in/on that, jewells are real static, but not real complex so it's easier to render than take a proshot on them. Take a look on modo!
