Newbie Am I going in good direction? - critique appreciated

First of all, hi

I started using Photoshop around 3 weeks ago and I LOVED retouching photos (even if they maybe not love being retouched ). So I just spend few hours a day learning it and getting deeper into addiction. And now I'd like to ask experts what do they think about my first works (well maybe not very first, but first that are not extremly bad). Actually I know that "showing off" with newbie pictures is quite silly, though I would really appreciate comments so I know what should I avoid at this point to not get bad habbits.

Thank you for your critique!

Here is link, there are 5 photos (just put mouse on image to change into "before"):

They are very nice. You definitely have an eye for what needs to be done.
Keep up he good work.
The B/W one could use some more variation in colors.
I like the one with the sunglasses best.

Thank you for your opinion Glad you like it, though lot of work for me yet!

Unfortunately the server where I uploaded it just extended limit (cheers for free hosting), so I uploaded it on another one - I edited oryginal post with new address.

Very nice. Good work for someone just using photoshop. In months, years... you'll be extraordinary.
