First real try at beauty retouch...comments and critique plz

Hy

So, this is my first post...i´m 22 years old and i´m learning commercial photography for 1 year now(school).
I think as a serious photographer i´ve to know how to retouch and reverse.

I´ve tried retouching before but only some minor things, this is my first real try at retouch and it would be great to get some advice/critique and so on...

Shoot with phase one P20 on a mamiya, tried some skin retouching i found on this forum. I know that i have to brighten the eyes a little bit but i uploaded the pic before i realised that.

for me it looks way to plastic. And the nose looks odd.

don't overdo smoothing.

I think its quite nice. But the skin is to even imo and sort of blurry. Seems to be a little to much Diffuse Glow or equivalent. The iris seems a little odd as they are not sharp or have any color vibrance. The whites in the eyes could be cleaned up a little too to suit the rest.

As i said...i know that i have to do some work on the eyes but i uploaded the pic before i realised that.

This was the first time that i tried skin smoothing in this extreme way but you´re right, its a little bit overdone.

The nose, hmmm...This girl has a big nose and i made it smaller already, do you think i should make it smaller?

What I mend is that her nose is nanishing in the left side of her cheek. Doens't look realistic
