| | | my first time to post my work, please critique hi, I have been lurking for around a couple of months now and i've been fascinated with all the threads and posts here. I'm a photography student and i really like retouching photos. and i also do retouching for my fellow photographers here in the philippines.
i've made her skin bronzy and altered the background. I also enhance the highlights and the shadows. please feel free to tell me if i've done wrong or overdone some things. |

| | | Re: my first time to post my work, please critique This is very nice. The bronze was very well executed imho. Though, I have to agree with Palms, it may be a smidge too dark but that's just me.
Nicely done! |

I think that having the model's skin virtually the same colour as the background is not doing anything for the image. She appears to blend into the background, and you kind of have to look a little too hard to see her. |

| | | Re: my first time to post my work, please critique I'm aware that this image is more red than bronze, but I don't do this kind of thing normally The intention of the post was to show that if the background were left lighter, then the model would stand out more. |

palms1, blindv: your right, after looking again at what i did with it, it really is dark must be the effect of working late at night with lights off
