Tay Bridge Scotland from a First Poster

Hi, everybody! This is my first post. Really like the site, and have found help here before. What triggered me to post was I saw yesterday somebody posted a picture of Tay Bridge and I've just finished restoring an old photo of the same bridge! I'm attaching the before and after to see what you folks think! The original was so bad with mould, fading, staining etc (it is pretty old!) that I ended up recreating quite a bit of the image, the sky, water, foreground road. I didn't do a more definitive sky because the client wanted it more authentic ie photos then didn't pick up blue too well and skies looked pretty bland.

Uh-oh ... I'm afraid I can't attach the files because I loaded them earlier today into the Salon Forum by mistake! So if you want to see them, please look up 'Nice to be here!'

Pete.....if you just change the name of the file you will be able to post it this forum....

Thanks, but tried several times with different names, but kept getting the message that the images were already with the other posting! Wierd!
