Eyebrows need plucked; that little bit of hair on the upper lip needs to go; needs definition in shoulder areas; the brown part of the eyes needs to be lightened so we can see the pupil; with mouth open like that it should be lightened inside to see bottom teeth and tongue better; These are just a few things I see.. JK...
I agree with Danny need comparison! |

It does not look like a royalty free, or stock photo site to me!
Or maybe you do not need permission... I do not know.. But if it were my pic I would probably be unhappy if you were to muck it up as opposed to Retouching it to make it look better or restoring it..
That's just my $.02 worth though |

| | | Re: tell me what you guys think Glad to know that you have permission.. If she is your friend that may explain why you have us go to her site to register hits instead of you providing a sample to judge your work by, Like I am providing below..
It looks like you are developing your own style, which, at this time, looks a little over done and blotchy to me and by only using this example to judge, may be an unfair judgement.. It may be because you are using a mouse or simply that you are trying something new.. If you continue to hone your work I am sure that it will develop into some fantastic renditions.. You have good skills, conceptual ideas and artistic ability that just need to be refined a bit to make the images look as if they were shot that way instead of being forced.. (if that makes sense)
Most of my comments made in the first post still apply though with the addition of more detail in the hair and the vertical line below the subjects left eye should be more towards the nose where it would naturally form a junction from the corner of the eye.. and my comment, "Eyes too big, nose very bulbous, needs lens correction badly.." is probably the Photographers artistic perception which you have enhanced.. and I withdraw..
If you were trying to emphasize a bulbous nose.. you did good and shaped it nicely..
Keep on Keeping on.. You have a talent!
BTW.. Thanks for being so nice to an Old person in your responses.. It was a pleasurable surprise! |

thanks for your opinion on my work.yes i am using a mouse.its very difficult to work with but i manage.also keep in mind i am very very new to this.i don't know how to bring out the hair and such.i learn how to do the eyes.i just put the original picture as a layer over the edited version erase everything but the eyes and then mess with hue and saturation to get the eyes the way i want.i assume i can do the same for the hair but again when using a mouse it is very hard.
and what did you expect me to be rude... lol my parents taught me to get respect you have to give it.
