I think the retouch itself is going good but the models face needs to be a bit brighter. I used a curve (picture attached below) for the whole image and used a masked softlight layer curve with a mild s curve to darken up the hair a bit.

I did a quick retouch but hopefully this will give you an idea on where to start. and as far as the color I think it's just right, my sample is C:5, M:20, Y:23 on the forehead. The version you posted is heavily cast with magenta, you may want to look into a hardware calibrator.

Adam,
Thank you for the comments. I will definitely go back and lighten up the face and darken the hair. My next purchase is an Eye One calibrator to correct my monitor.
