Smile My cat

OK, i'm new here and only really getting used to CS2 and Corel, i've been mucking around with photos I take for the past few months on and off, nothing serious, so just wanted a bit of feedback on whether you like them (my cats) and have any ideas that you would like to share!

The first photo is the original and second is the one i've played with!!

Re: My cat

Actually I apologise the third photo isn't the correct one, but the one I used was exactly the same in terms of original colour

Re: My cat

Molitor, what effect are you pursuing? The photos have been "contrasted" to death, resulting in blown-out whites and filled-in blacks, and most of the detail is gone. If that's your intention, then good for you - but it's certainly not to my taste. (Beautiful cat, though!)

Have you calibrated your monitor in any way?

Re: My cat

Thanks for your comment.. I think for these I was after an almost abstract image, but have checked my monitor and understand now where you are coming from.
