Re: Do you like this?

Hey,
Again, if someone asked me to give them a retouch that looked more pale, black and white 'ish, with color emphasized on the lips.... then yes. And they do ask for such things depending on their marketing needs.

However, otherwise, no. I think the original looked fine, though a bit too tan.

Re: Do you like this?

Insensitive,

First of all, lovely job on the retouch. It's flawless and smooth. She is a bit pale on my monitor and I might add a bit more red to her skin tone. I realize that asian folks have a bit more yellowish hue but I think it needs a bit of red still.
Nice work.

Re: Do you like this?

If you asked: do I like the plastic doll, my answer would be yes

If you asked: do I like the retouched photo of the woman, my answer would be no

Re: Do you like this?

Sorry guys, i should have explained more, i forget to do that very often!! lol.

Im more artsy than Vogue, if you get what i mean, her skin definately was not supposed to be realistic. Sweetlight, its not your monitor! lol. I made her look like that so its not just you. But i wanted something kind of artsy. And funky. But still sophisticated. And this was my first time doing these two tone lips so i thought why not have fun with it.

Re: Do you like this?

Funny !... Just today I saw a similar retouch done for a jewelry magazine. So, Insensitive... you just never know !? Your taste may be just what someone is looking for out there. So, keep it up !

Re: Do you like this?

Not my taste, I prefer the original, but a well executed piece for what it is.

Hi. I think your interpretation is more illustrative, which is fine because your vision was to make the image artsy, possibly more stylized. I think you got what you wanted, so IMO, I think you did a very good work there
