Please critique

Hi here is a few images posted by CMS there is some flaws in them that i'm aware of, but you guys might see something that i didn’t. The images fairly big size, please critique them.

Hi Edgar; good choice of images to play around with.

There are a few things that you may wish to consider, depending on your goal with the images. The first image, in the retouched version, the lady looks almost ghastly... Her face looks very pail, while the shadows remain very dark. I think she needs a little more colour in her face to make this a little more effective. Also, I think the white background ads to the ghostly characters of the image.

In the second set of images I think that the black and white image would be more successful if the image was a little softer. I think that the black and white brings out some more of the imperfections in her skin. Judging by the look, I think that you were going for more of a beauty retouch, therefore a softer image would be more successful.

Hi Nikolas, finally i can respond it was a busy jewelry shooting week, had only 20h of sleep...nevertheless...Thank you for your comment, i have to agree with you both versions should have background work and they are over processed. As of color i can live it as shot or enhance it or change it toward...personally for some reason i like the pale look in general, but i'm sure the photographer had different intent in the shoot. But it nice to get a critique because it makes me analyze and look different and at the things i do.
