HERE IS MY MYSPACE PHOTO PAGE. I WOULD LIKE THE MEMBERS OF THIS FORUM TO TELL ME WHAT THEY THINK. IS IT GOOD, DOES IT SUCK, IM SURE I NEED WORK ( WHO DOESNT).
IVE WORKED FOR NEWSPAPERS, YEARBOOKS, AND INDEPENDENTLY FOR YEARS.
ALOT OF PEOPLE TELL ME MY WORK IS GOOD, BUT ID LIKE AN OPINION FROM PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW ME.
ALL MY PHOTOS ON THIS PAGE ARE IN THE SLIDE SHOWS...

Dear gawd man learn to spell, use punctuation correctly and stop it with the all caps. Spend $6 a month or less and put up a real website. The myspace page is impossible to read and gives me a headache.

Edit those photos like a butcher. Take it down to your best 10 and then throw out half of them. Only show your best best work. You have a 'portrait' of a guy holding out his hand - the hand is the only thing in focus. Not effective. Be more severe with your own personal editing. Look around. Learn what's good before trying to be different. You have to know the rules before breaking them.

now maybe it my IE6, but i also tried my aol browser....
1. it appears to be extremely busy...... a lot of distractions.... a person can get worn out looking at everything....
2. i see about 4 duplications of ad's "by slide .com" there blocking/overlapping and overcrowding everything...... that very distracting.... in fact there probably blocking from view some content..... plus there eating up a lo of your webpage space ..
3. there a picture with a light background that has photoequipment... it stays right in the middle of the webpage all the time!!! very distracting and make it hard to concentrate on anything else on the webpage...

well that just a couple of things I noticed

JMHO, but it's crap. Too much stuff, lousy HTML with stuff hiding other stuff. Rank amateur type page. Just a hint... in any kind of design, be it for the web, photography, print, fine art, sometimes less is better. Give the eye a break. It's just one of the basic rules of good design.

Yes, sorry... I would have to agree. (Although I'm easy on the ears.. or eyes.)
Use MySpace for what it is... a community forum. It is not a good medium for potential clients.

Like Ant pointed out, you can have a fresh website for under $5 a month. Point your clients there. Clean out your images and show only your best work. Put all the other ones on your MySpace page for your friends to enjoy.

Unfortunately, it is hard to critique your actual work. We just cannot bear to dig through it all. Why don't you post some (like a few.. as in three) images right here for us to look at. They don't have to be large. The post limit for you is 100KB per image anyway. We would be fine with looking at them and giving you our feedback.

A fresh thread may be a good idea !
