In the second image the hairs you removed from the back of her neck left her neckline soft and blurry. you also left some hairs there, which if you're going to fix something like that I'd go all the way with it.
Overall I think you're doing an excellent job. Keep up the good work!

| | | Re: Need some critique 14 years old? I'm very impressed you have developed your retouching skills so much at a very young age.
Just to nitpick, Some of the skin does look a little soft especially around the eyes. The second one the sunglasses has some smuggeness on her left side, which having tried myself I am aware it is imposable to correct, However with Photoshop all things are possible. But all in all you've done a great job. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Keep is up, Laura!

| | | Re: Need some critique The first image is very nice Laura. Regarding her looking sleepy... there may not be much you can do about that, as she was looking slightly upward allowing her iris to touch her upper eye lid. We interpret that as sleepy, as when we shut our eyes a tad and the lid touches the iris. You could possibly move her iris down some, but it is a lot of work for little gain.
The second image is good also. Unfortunately, the quality of the original is not as good, so it requires more work to bring it up to the level of the first. I agree the hair on her neck needs work, as do the reflections on the glasses.
Otherwise, you are doing great. Keep up the nice work and continue posting ! |

Yes, I tried to do something about the glasses. But removing the whole light from the camera looked very fake.
I shoud try more pictures with glasses and jewelry, but it's hard to find them. |
