The next try

Hello!

Thanks to OlBaldy, TommyO and the other guys who were so kind to help me with my last retouch, I used some of their thoughts on this other shot of Andrea. I payed more attention to the lips and the eyes. Again no use of filters or plugins - no blurring either - everything D&B and adjustment layers with masks.

Of course I'm glad about any kind of critique and comments.

Thank you ... Andreas.

Re: The next try

Beautiful work! Again! Probably just me but I'd like to see the eye a bit darker. Half way between before and after. I kind of like the specular highlight toward the edge of her right eye in the before. Shows roundness. Obviously I had to really search for something to nit pick. One other thing; Bigger!

Re: The next try

Hello!

Thanks for the advice on the eye. I understand what you mean and I will take a closer look at it. Meanwhile I've uploaded a bigger version of the retouch - about half the final size.

Cheers ... Andreas.

Re: The next try

Nice work, but I think you did the dodge too much under her eyes what makes her eyes look punched out of her face. Also it's nice that you left some spots (?) on her face, but three (or four) on the right side is a bit too much (for me) I should remove 1 or maybe 2.
The coloring is nice though.

Actually, I think the problem took care of itself at a larger size.
Great job!

Re: The next try

Thanks for the advice, Laura. I will think about it the next time - hard for me to find the sweet spot there.

Cheers ... Andreas.

What's a sweet spot?
It's a good retouch for a try

The "sweet spot" is the point where you done something just right - not too little, not too much.

Thanks ... Andreas.
