I personally think the makeup is a bit to heavy, but thats me,everybody's taste is different. When I work on a portrait I like to apply just enough makeup to enhance the lady's face ( eyes, mouth, cheeks etc.)
This is the technique I use.
To start with I create a new layer for every part of the photo I'm working on, left eye, left eye lid, right eye, right eyelid etc etc. This allows me to go back and adjust small amounts at a time.
1:create a 2 new layers, call one left eye and the other one right eye.
2: magnify the left eye so you can see it clearly.Approx 240%
3: select brush tool, leave on normal mode, opacity 100% set brush to 5 or 6.
4: have black as foreground color (or whatever color you want) and trace with the brush where you want the eyeliner.
5: go filter->blur->gaussian blur, approx 2.5, not to much as it will flare out the black to much. o.k.
6:highlight the left eye layer and slide opacity to zero and then start sliding back to the right to get the depth of color you want.
Now do the same thing to the right eye, you can do this to any part of the photo you want.
I put some rouge on her cheek to give you a better idea of what you can do , (matched her lipstick) using the same principle, brush size approx 45, blur 4, opacity 65%.
Play around with the blur versus the layer opacity to get different effects.
I hope this info is what you are looking for, if you need any more let me know.

Xime | I think you did a good job, Personally I think te eyelashes and the eyeliner are good enough in this way. there a only two things that i dont like.
**( the photo without the golden make up) her face is Too yellow compared with the other photo (the photo with the golden make up).
**( the photo WITH the golden make up) ther are two parts of her skin that are repeated (thanks to the healing tool...) i marked them so if you look at the attached files you will see it. |

| | | Re: beauty retouch, help wanted! I'm not a pro at all. I would say still in the learning stages , but here is what I did with the photo. I lightened the color of the lip gloss , removed some of the eye liner. Lightened the skin after some healing added with a glow. I was going for something simple. |

Thats a completely different aproach to the image but still very good job! I rather go for the strong contrast and orange look, but that´s just personal taste. Thanks a lot.
