Blackeyed Susan and Green Lynx Spider..... This is a photo that I took back in 2004 when I was first experimenting with my new Fuji S7000 and macro shots. In the second one I sharpened it a bit more. Does that look any better? Thanks, Pam

Re: Blackeyed Susan and Green Lynx Spider..... I'd only sharpen the flower itself, not the grass behind it. It just gives more noise there, doesn't really add something, IMHO.

Re: Blackeyed Susan and Green Lynx Spider..... I agree; only sharpen the foreground elements. Also, the flower and the background almost blend into each other; I would probably darken the background just a LITTLE bit so that the flower and spider stand out a little more. I think this should be especially considered in the top left hand corner of the picture; the yellow of the flower matches the yellow in the grass. Great composition by the way!
