| My first attempt This photo is from Athens Auto salon.The lighting is not uder control! Sorry for the watermarks,but are necessaries in internet. http://www.imaginas.gr/gallery/pictures/im60.jpg How can i do the background blurred? Thank you very much Stathis |

| Re: My first attempt Hi, Stathis! Welcome to RetouchPro! Explore and Enjoy! To blur the background... Duplicate the background layer. Blur the duplicate. Add a reveal all mask and use a black paint brush to paint back the detail on the mask of the woman in the layer below. Or you could first make a selection of the woman, copy the selection to a new layer then blur the layer below. (Duplicate your original background and blur the duplicate). |

| Re: My first attempt You take this Photo and you want bokeh or you just want blurred background. Bokeh is the blur background but if you mean photoshop blur then you could do what swampy describes. If you want real blur (bokeh) from start, use low as f/2.8 or f/1.2 depends what you have. If you use f/8 or smaller aperture, the less bokeh you get.
