Hello, First post and Opinion. Original E01_O.jpg Retouched E01_R.jpg I have been "playing" with photoshop since high school, and I currently work for a company where I manage color. Including printer profiling, color correction, retouching, design and marketing, and a number of other "hats". Currently I would say my day to day work consists of color correcting Very large amounts of images. However I retouch at least one image a day and design 50% of the companies media. I'm no "master" at retouching but I feel that I hold my own most of the time. I worked for an hour or so on this photo, taking my time as I was trying out some new things that I had not done before. This image ended up on a 20"x24" poster. Please don't hold back I would like to know what I can improve upon! Thanks!

Re: Hello, First post and Opinion. Yes in the original image her nose is red, however I removed most of it. Are you sure your monitor is not just making it seem worse than it really is? I'm using a high-end Eizo and a NEC monitor that are both color corrected with an Eye-One Pro. I only see a slight redness to her nose. It looks the exact same when printed.

Re: Hello, First post and Opinion. Yes the version I posted is uncroped, and I guess I liked the lines as it shows her character. E01_Rcrop.jpg Now cropped.

Re: Hello, First post and Opinion. Skin tone is very subjective, but your image is probably a little redder overall than is usually taken as "normal". I made a slight adjustment to the red tones.
