1st attempt

Hello everyone. Excuse the jpeg compression 1st of all - was unsure of the file size minimums.
This is my 1st attempt at some sports photography for my sons school.They wanted an out of the ordinary pic, so please let me know what u think. Thanks
(Poor gym lighting is rough)

The shot is not bad... I would step back a bit on the stylized, highpass look a bit. That super sharpened, extreme shadow/highlight thing works sometimes for some types of shots but I feel it overwhelms the subject matter here. Just my $.02.
