Took a crack at Andrzej Dragan's style

I decided to take a crack at Andrzej Dragan's style (acknowledging that his style varies, but I think I've come pretty close to his spirit) and came up with this, after reviewing an old thread on here where some folks were trying to figure him out.

Let me know what you think. I used the image everyone decided to test their skills on.

Before

After

On second thought, having had a second to sit back and see what I did, I made this next adjustment that I think brings the piece closer:

Well, the critique forum has never been the most active of the forums on RP.
I think you did a great job. Either one of the two look fine and seem right in line with Dragan's style.

Re: Took a crack at Andrzej Dragan's style

I use curve adjustments, color adjustments, and a degree of good ol' high pass. Beyond that, I can't really say. My methods vary a little with each piece. It's more a developed art than a science.

Careful comparison of the before and after + a good understanding of what Photoshop can do should be all you need to know.
