I tried to make the model stand out more from the images behind her..
I Would be grateful if you'd let me know what you think and maybe suggest improvements ?

Your link took me to the sign-up page... dun wunna!! so didn't see your effort!

Please don't use external links as the only source for images, externally linked images should only be made available as a backup for attached images. Sometimes links to outside sites can get broken...External links change, some sites purge old accounts or have time limits for storage, which makes an otherwise useful thread here pretty useless. By attaching the image to the post it will be viewable forever.

Well making the background B&W was a good choice for starters, to add to it you could add some vignette.

If you want to get real crazy you could possibly do a lens baby effect on everything or just the background. Go here to see a video.

Another thing, I don’t know if you cropped this but the picture seems unbalanced to me. It seems a bit Model right heavy making it seem off center.

I have this image on my computer, waiting to be edited too (thanks deviant art!). I like what you did with the image...All in all, very good work. One little thing is that her forehead MIGHT be a bit bright (imho). Keep it up!
