Re: Grandaughter Reworked

I think you did quite well. I like all that you did with the hair, eyes, chin area; especially the additional clothing. Good job there. (Does she have one eye of a different color ?)

The one area that stood out needing some further refinement was the skin over her right breast. The skin is too smooth; lost its texture. This will show on a print. Otherwise, a very nice job. It is unusual to see one done this way, zooming out rather than in - great idea.

I see 2 problems in your retoucing. Her skincolor has a litle gray or purple color and her eyes need lighting up a litle.

Re: Grandaughter Reworked

Gobsmacked,

Much better then B4. Seems you learned a lot. Just some minor suggestions.

If possible to bring back some texture in the black blouse, it looks about as black as the background, and it is when you look at the info on it.

Key:
T: TommyO suggestion of texture added here
C: Clone heal or remove some of the weird strays
D: Dodge and burn to even

I really like the eye copy and the new eye makeup. Probably glad you had to start over now...

Good job,
-Keven

Re: Grandaughter Reworked

Thanks for the crit. I'll do some more work on it , although to be honest I'm getting fed up of looking at her ( love her to bits really ) ! I will follow TommyO and Keven's suggestions , but a bit worried by Zepplin's . The colour looks fine on my monitor ! I'm a 76 yr. old Junior LOL ! I know I've got a Cataract forming so I take any reference to colour seriously . Please let me know if I get it wrong . Bill
