Inspiration: Anime

I took this picture ages ago, and I'd been working on the retouch for the longest time. I finished it a while back, but I've been away from the forums for quite some time, but I'm back and I thought I'd see what you guys thought about it.

My inspiration was anime. I wasn't striving for the feel of photo-realism, but more of a surreal almost painted style. I feel I've grown strides since I last came in here, and this picture was completed about a year ago, so I feel I've grown in many ways even since then, but I wanted to get feedback and opinions on this particular piece because I really love it.
