One Minute Retouch

Well, not exactly. More like 3 hour retouch!

There are some excellent retouchers here! I've been a little intimidated to post many items until I feel that my work is going in a positive, objective direction.

Not so much a tutorial, simply before / afters by turning on (and off) layer groups. Condensed into a YouTube video. I could also post some jpegs if someone wants to check that too.

HERE ARE THE JPEGS

Pardon the external link...(is that bad form?). I think it's pretty good...What do you think?

P.S. My site is undergoing a major overhaul so please be patient (referring to the link at the video's end).

Re: One Minute Retouch

I like what you did, but it’s hard to really see everything that was done from the video.

Posting JPEG would better show everything that was changed. Maybe even some insight into some or all of what you did. Disclose what you feel comfortable with.

Good work,
-Keven

Hi jbedford, I think it is really good, what I like most is that you fixed the eye that was under the bangs, you did that well and I don't think many would have even thought of it.
I don't see anything that stands out as not finished, or missed. Very good job.

I think you have done great and it looks good!
Very Nice Work!

Just a minor suggestion that I feel might make it look a little better overall..

Re: One Minute Retouch

Second cathy's. opinion. And to add to it, i really like the nose job.

I see where Olbaldy is going, but i am unsure about the slant in the shoulders now. With the arm there it makes sense. I technicality like it better with the arm down but the slant may be too much work to fix.

Its very well controlled. The method of smoothing the skin, is that D&B or a light degrunge? Or a combo of it. I ask because it has a soft glow, I like it.

The only thing is for some reason i feel she should have pink highlights running through her hair. Not that it needs to be there...just have a feeling...

Hope to learn a lot from you...

Great job here,
-Keven

Re: One Minute Retouch

I think this is fantastic . The only thing that bothered me was her left arm , but Keven has done a great job of fixing it . It's a pity the video is so quick , I can't really see what's going on . Bill
SORRY ! I thought Keven had done the " arm " edit but it was Olbaldy . I must have had a senior moment ! Apologies to him , sorry for any confusion . Bill
