Self portrait retouch for fun So I did this little retouch on myself for fun. A little different since I don't wearing any makeup :p, but the most challenging part was getting the background to be what I wanted. I didn't want to take it too far, but if I do go back and do anything else to this later, the first on the list is to work on the chapped lips. As a note, the colors got a little jacked going from ProPhotoRGB to sRGB. Before: http://flickr.com/photos/caseybritt/3291549249/ After: http://flickr.com/photos/caseybritt/3292370032/

Re: Self portrait retouch for fun I'd agree, the lips need to be done... another thing you could do is work on the arch of your nose, and fix that slight redness (hue/sat). Lastly, reduce the purple under eye part (hue/sat). Everything else looks very clean and well done. I like the concept and the lighting, very nice. Opinion, -Keven

Re: Self portrait retouch for fun Thanks Keven, I agree that the hue sat needs some adjustment based on what the final output looks like. It looks a bit better in ProPhotoRGB, but could probably use another look as I ran curves to get the colors (white/black/skin) correct before retouching and probably need to do another check now that everything is cleaned up. I'm sure I got lost along the way.
