Re: Would love some more feedback!

The skin looks very nice. I would guess you used D&B and it shows in the realism of the result. And it's from the original I know, but you might want to address the posterization in the lower left shadow in the neck. Just pulling out the saturation there might do the trick.

I guess my biggest critique would be non-technical. The mood of the model, for me, has shifted. In the original it's a direct but sincere gaze, neutral but not unnatural. In your retouch, you've sharpened and perfected the eyes that it's taken on this "Children of the Corn" blank stare. It looks mechanical to me, mannequin-ish. I wonder if reducing the sharpness of the eyes or increasing the sharpness of everything else might modify that.

Thanks for the feedback! I would agree with you about the eyes and the expression. I am going for that kind of mannequin look with this though so I am actually please to hear that is what you thought! I might tone it back a little though.

Thank you!!

I think you did an okay job as well. You might ask yourself if you have an ideal face type. Madclark thot the retouched face looked mannequin-ish. I think it looks androgynous. I, too, have a tendency to do that, so I have to be conscious of instinctive tendencies.
