Smile Baby pic critique

These are two images reworked from raw, the original i've had for a while and now think the white balance was on the yellow side, too much light flare and a tad over-sharpened. Nothing i can do about the head, it was the wrong lens, but all i had at that time, i prefer no. 2, but i like the pose in no.1, any thoughts?

Re: Baby pic critique

Well after spending too much time in CS3 i worked out that the prob was a different white balance setting back in lightroom and as i couldn't reproduce it i copied the settings over from no.2 to the Lucas raw and that fixed it, brought back into ps and curves/smart sharpen, soft-filter and used history brush to bring back the eyes, nose and mouth...amazing how the eyes "pop", but look natural...thanks to Olbaldy for that one,
regards,
Gary
