Gothic Witch Retouch

Hello everyone.
I've been reading up on this forum for a while and this will be the first time I actually post. So here goes:

This picture is some kind of Gothic witch or cave-woman from a small photoshoot I did with some friends for practice. The images turned-out so/so, being gray and a little out of focus (I figured-out the problem after the shoot, doh!).
So I decided to try my hands at a pretty substantial retouch because, well, practice makes perfect right? This is the first time I actually retouch an image with D&B and all that fancy stuff. I usually just go for simple levels and colors.

So, I would appreciate it a whole lot if some of you could point out where I went wrong (I'm sure there's a whole bunch), or what actually does work.
Feel free to retouch it yourselves as I've seen many of you like to do so =p
