Portraiture retouching

Retouched portraiture:
The left picture is the original, middle: some adjustment to texture , quality etc and on the right: new eyelashes

Any comments: In re-working portraiture, I feel minimum and subtle changes are what is required. Your suggestions are very welcome

Nice job. I really like the one on the far right. The only thing I notice is her eye whites look very bright and slightly unnatural so just take the brightness on them down a bit. Otherwise nice work I'm the model will be happy with the results

Thanks for the comments. I took a colour sampler to the whites of the eyes and , you are right, the whites are whiter... Thanks for the input.

i am considering purchasing Portraiture software as a plug-in for PS Elements 6. i would really appreciate your opinions on adding this software. I presently use the Kodac Digital Ice series of plug-ins, but have found them of limited value. I only want to spend the money if Portraiture is really worth its $300 cost.

You can post fairly large pictures which are under 100k using the save for web function in Photoshop as described here:

If you use eyelash brushes try to put them on the eyelid instead of in the corner of the eye.. also if you noticed how the viewers right side of her face is slightly out of focus... and the overall picture is sort of fuzzy/grainy the eyelashes should also be consistent and fuzzy/grainy plus the misplaced eyelash on the viewers right should be even more out of focus..
After I saw the eyelash in the corner of her eye I quit looking
