It's VERY pretty but it seems incomplete. The off placement of the cycle, the mysterious mood, and the heightened sense of detail sets up a sense of intrigue that begs me to search the image to find the message, to discover something hidden, and I feel let down to find nothing. My curiosity was peaked enough to spend time with the image, but I wasn't rewarded sufficiently for my efforts.

Maybe something like a lingering footprint, a cigarrette butt, a rhinestone purse, a crumpled paper with a phone number (not all of these, any one of them)...some other "clue" to compliment the intrigue would go a long way toward giving the shot and treatment a greater sense of purpose.

Flashtones,I can see what you're saying about the missing detail. I felt in the moment, that the rain would be enough to complete the story of what I was conveying with this scene. But I agree now that you brought that detail up. But if you had'nt, I felt this image was complete enough. Thanks again for giving me more to think about before pressing the shutter button.

it's still beautiful though. love the treatment. did you do much dodge and burn on the motorcycle?

In my youth I found that everyone wanted a story behind an image, but sometimes when you press the shutter, that image you just captured was taken simply because you liked it. Sometimes this is a reason enough for taking an image. Personally its a great image!

Flashtones, I just copied the main layer in PHS CS3, and used the Topaz plugin. Which is way cool!!! BTW. Thanks again.

Wish you posted a bigger picture. I would love to Photoshop it. Maybe this could be a contest or challenge. Title it "Make the story behind the image" or something like that!

I like this pic. I love the color in the pic the most. It gives it real emotion, like there's a sad story being presented.

Cool looking picture. I would have probably made it darker, atleast the ground anyways but besides that you get no complaints from me. Good work.
