Looking for critique

Hi everyone. I'm pretty new here and I thought I would post one of my before and afters to get some opinions and critiques. I am by no means a professional, but I don't consider myself a beginner either. Thanks

You have brought out some nice tones and even got rid of the obtrusive thumb... Looks Good to me!

Re: Looking for critique

The picture looks really blurry to me.
You can get really nice details from it,as in my example.

Re: Looking for critique

Thanks for the comments. I don't really see any blur in this image, maybe because it's on the smaller side, but thanks for the comments none the less.

Re: Looking for critique

Boston0108,
Overall, good. I would prefer the additional light source in the far right be removed as well as its reflection off his head. The shadows on his collar are a little distracting. Maybe reveal a tad more of her left eye. I would agree with Aleksman somewhat, a bit more detail or a final sharpening would be nice.
