Photo Restoration for critique

Hello Everyone,

I recently started to branch out and start restoring old photos and I was looking for some insight. This is just an old family picture that was put through a lot. It's small but I hope that it's enough. I look forward to your comments.

judging from this small sample... it looks pretty good to me!

If you use Photoshop you can post fairly large pictures which are under 100k using the save for web function in Photoshop as described here:
Size, Quality and/or Format your Attached Images.. (Click here)

This may help also, How to attach Files/Images to your Posts or Threads?(Click here)

If you want to post a larger resolution that is over 100K then you can host your image elsewhere, and attach a link in the thread,(as you did) but also please attach an under 100K version, (so the thread remains useful in the future, regardless of external links).

A good restoration so far. Hopefully, it is both challenging and rewarding for you.

I see a few telltale signs of cloning on the bricks that should be touched up prior to printing. They will show later, and you will later wish you had fixed them.

Also, you may wish to address the odd color on her fingers.

Otherwise, it is coming along nicely. The colors are just about right. The color looks very realistic for many snapshots of the day. Others may ask you to pump up the contrast and color just a bit. Either way, it looks good.
