Please C&C..overcooked HDR?

Please C&C this picture of 3 Royal Opera singers.
Very aggressive PP but is it too much?
What could have been done better?

Thanks in advance

Re: Please C&C..overcooked HDR?

Thanks.
I made another version with the original sky to get rid of artifacts and backed off the overall effect.
Is it more balnced now, do you think?

Re: Please C&C..overcooked HDR?

I like the balance of the second one better, but I would desaturate the sky a little. The blue is slightly distracting. That would keep the girls as the most colorful thing in the photo.

Not Lucis but Photomatix, a lot of contrast, local contrast enhancement and a LOT of dogde/burn on a softblendmode empty layer.

The fishnet pattern is bugging me. Am I the only one? Otherwise, quite fierce.
