chris murr retouch

Rather than steal this guy's thunder.......

.....I thought I'd start a new thread. I borrowed his idea of thickening up the fringe/bangs but it's a completely new retouch from scratch. Again, as per usual for me it's mostly dnb work, just trying to push my skills. I've reduced these for viewing, the original retouch is obviously full scale.

Thoughts and comments welcome

Again 70 views and nothing. Very disappointing.

Re: chris murr retouch

Some spots on her throat look quite blurry compared to the rest of the skin and the hair you added to her forehead doesn't follow the natural flow.
But apart from that I think the skin looks quite nice, the eyes pop and you reduced the shine on her chin very well, nice job!

Ups, look at the background, right side, that's far too obvious cloning with a hard edge!

hi, it looks a little patchy-patchy to me in a few areas, the shoulder, neck and the hand deserve more attention i think. i would also keep some wrinkles under the eyes, the area looks a little flat. i like the hair. just my quick opinion

great hair, need to clean up her shoulder skin, and ya messed up the cloning trying to remove flyaway hair. ez to fix that, so i give the effort a "hairy good".

Re: chris murr retouch

Thanks for the feedback, to be honest I only really did the face, everything else was an after thought and yes the neck does look patchy. I actually used a block of colour to cover most of the hair at the back of the head, you can see the edge of it in the pic, is that what you guys are mentioning?

I'm having trouble getting my DnB super smooth, I'm using a wacom bamboo which is loads better than a mouse. I've learnt 2 more new techniques since doing this, especially the HP/LP one so will give that a go on the next one. Also, I'll remember to do the whole pic on the next one, not just the face

Thanks for the feedback
