Grunge Portrait - Critique Please

Tried to do a Andrzej Dragan (mine might be way too harsh), but this look epitomizes grunge to me. Used G'MIC's Tonemap preset in conjuction with my illustration flow for this result (did brighten the eyes separately).

Yes, for me that's way too harsh! What aspect of Andrzej's work were you trying to incorporate?

Yeah; I do agree. Went much further then Andrzej will ever do. To answer your question, the elevated brighteness of the eyes and jaundice skin tones for starters.

I do appreciate your comments sorry I have not been back sooner,
However I am still working on this image and would like to do it justice
or get it close to a good interpretation of the look you require (Grunge)
I agree in your observation of the image being over saturated,

however have not worked on the mask/vignette as yet.

I am looking to buy a NEC MultiSync P221W – 22 soon.

So could be all change again
