Re: RetouchMasters is seeking your opinion.. Just a quick review: I like the first image the best. The model looks great and the water adds myth and drama to the image. But the outfit and she as well still look to dry for all the water splashing around her. On the second one, the montage has some problems. The legs of the chair are too light at the bottom, the perspective doesn't fit and the proportions seem to make the shovel as tall as her leg (which is a little small imo). The third one is way too dark in some areas. Looking at the amount of light hitting the rest of the grass, her legs just look wrong to me. I also think she's too saturated compared to the background.

Re: RetouchMasters is seeking your opinion.. I tend to disagree I've also probably got some of the details in the shadows at the lower part of the model, in the last image, a little bit off. Cheers, Vlad

Re: RetouchMasters is seeking your opinion.. Vlad, I have to agree with Jonas. On the 1st one I deliberately did not look at the before image and felt that there was an intentional effort to show as much of the model's face and skin to the point where she does not have enough water on her to make it look realistic. On the 3rd image, the shadows are wat too dark - at least on the image you posted. There is no deatail in the hair or lower part of boots - the blacks are plugged to 0,0,0. If the sky were as bright as it was and she is as dark as she is, I would say the shoot was a piece of poor photography or poor post processing. Regards, Murray

Re: RetouchMasters is seeking your opinion.. Ok - You're right. I had to make a compromise between making her face covered with water and making her recognizable.

Re: RetouchMasters is seeking your opinion.. I would have to agree with Jonas as well. The first one is my favorite but for the second one there is some parts of the image that really stand out. For starters the perspective between her, the fence behind her, and the background behind that really don't match up too well (and of course the previously mentioned shovel). Secondly, the lighting/shadows on the floor don't fit (how is there light underneath her boot...and what's lighting her boot so much?). Lastly, I also noticed on the second image that there is a pretty choppy masking job on her hat. With the third image the biggest issue was the lighting. It was overburned to the point of being artifacted which didn't match up with the area she was composited in. Overall they were pretty good, keep up the good work.
