constructive critique needed, pls

i'm new to stock photography and my 3 application photos have been rejected... would you please take a min to tell me what's good and what's bad about them so i can produce what they want....

I sure hope these are not the same files that you submitted. They are so tiny that it is impossible to see enough detail to offer any real suggestions. Remember, stock photo companies are looking for photos that are unique, impactful, and powerful. Ask yourself if these examples meet that criteria.

they were resized for photobucket upolad obviously. and they are for application purposes (entry level) ... and not out of the category of many that can be found on stock.

just assuming...

boy reading:
- not interesting enough, they already have thousands of pics like this
- not well isolated (paper wrinkels on the ground)
- distracting flying hair, not a carefully planned shot
- probably noisy in the dark pullover (can't tell at this resolution, but stock agencies are very picky about noise, even very light noise in dark areas that's normally regarded to be okay)
- talent release available?

eggs:
- good picture but still i'm sure they already have this picture a few times
- looks just very very slightly out of focus to me
- distracting dirt on the plate (or maybe it's from the eggs) - this should be removed

climber:
- not exciting, they have better pics of people climbing already
- common perspective, dull lighting, climber is slightly underexposed because of backlight/sky
- this kind of photo is good for a documentary but not iconic enough as a stock photo.
- talent release available?

Just imagine someone using a stock library: Why should he/she download your reading boy instead of any of the other reading boys already available? Why your climber instead of the other climbers? Why your eggs? What makes your picture different, more interesting, more suitable for a special use? What can be illustrated best with your pic? Be more special, unique and straight to the point!

Generally the pictures have solid composition, seem to be in focus and are well exposed. They lack creativity though.
