a evening in the park

i did my 1st siting with some one i really dont know well ant this is what came about. i cloned out the the bigger imperfection and some distracting background elements as well as some stray hairs. I also use a surface blur to smooth out the skin. i have made a befor and after photo to show what i started with and what i ended up with. i would appreciate any help to improve my technique.

Re: a eveing in the park

First of all: welcome to retouchpro.com

Second, thank you for sharing with all of us your efforts.

Many new members assume that someone in the forum will do the work for them. You took a crack at it and are looking for guidance.
Good for you!

Thank you for posting.

Now regarding the use of surface blur, and other tricks used, I'll leave up to others more qualified than me to address that.

I think it looks really good and natural...but be careful. Some people take offence to cloning out 'imperfections'. Make sure to show her both.
