My first complete full remaster of antique photo Heres a couple photos of a photo that I retouched and enlarged. The 4x5 photo shows an old logging train. I removed all of the spots and improved the color and contrast and then added sepia. The second picture is the completed version. The third picture shows some detail. I have to say that I am SHOCKED at how well it turned out. I would not have believed that such an enlargement could be made from a small photo while still retaining so much detail and continuity. Please offer your comments and suggestions. If you want to know what I did to bring it back to life please ask.

Re: My first complete full remaster of antique pho Not sure how. I had to know 'em down to this size to not get errors. Explain?

Re: My first complete full remaster of antique pho Hi darylbubba, sorry to say, bigger images are needed, I think as long as they are under 150/200k it should be fine in principle to post them directly on this site. Someone will correct me if I am mistaken.

Re: My first complete full remaster of antique pho I have tried and I am not able to figure how to do it. I get an error that says the image can only be 100K. That doesn't give much of a picture.

Re: My first complete full remaster of antique pho In Photoshop go to File-Save For The Web. Then on the right side you will see a drop down arrow that opens up to a box that you can set to 100K. Joe

Re: My first complete full remaster of antique pho Joeven is correct. Without actually posting the originals to an alternate site, and giving us the URL, your only other option is "Save for the Web" in Photoshop. It is still a jpg, but uses compression sufficient for getting a larger (dimensional) image with decent viewing detail. At least far bigger than what you have now.
