Editorial Retouch

I had a model from London contact me asking to retouch a photo in an editorial style.

Here is my go. I know my style hasn't quite found that stunningly clean look yet but some feedback would be fantastic!

Hi Jessica, you managed to make her skin look smother - I would try to keep it in one color tone (I mean I would color correct the magenta tone on her legs and hands).
I like your work on her hair ...

I think you're on the right track.
First thing I noticed though was the sunburned-looking legs and red hand.
I would like to see a little more detail/contrast in the hair and iris too.
On a more detailed look, maybe shape the bikini bottoms to have smoother lines, and camera-right upper thigh could stand a little tweak.
Maybe you could downplay the darkness of the folds in the upper sleeve too.

Looks pretty good. I think you have already been given the right advice and direction. The legs and hands need to be more in line with the torso skin tones. You can do this with Selective Color Correction or another means. This is the direction you need to go...

Thanks! I knew after working on it forever that the redness needed to be reduced. it's amazing what taking a break and coming back to a photo can do!
