Re: Another Skin Retouch I'm seeing it. It looks pretty good. I don't like the lips totally - maybe a little redder and moist looking. Also the right eye's - right side of pic - eyelid looks a little too large and bulged at center peak. Again, overall pretty good.

Re: Another Skin Retouch Jessica, it's a good start but you have quite a bit more work to do. If you zoom in you will find a lot of courseness and lines / patches where you have not done any D&B to even out the courseness. I have marked up only a few spots but you will see a a great deal more. There are far to many for me to mark up. There are large areas every where that need smoothing out a little, especially the neck. The grayscale attachment has a exaggerated contrast so you can see those areas. Another round of D&B can clean all of it up. Regards, Murray

Re: Another Skin Retouch Jessica, Nice work. Very nice A/B. I like what you are doing with the skin. I also especially enjoy what you did on the eye lid by adding some height and roundness to the eye lid... and removing the red on the inside of the eye lid...nicely done! There is always something more to do it seems...but you have a great beginning!

Re: Another Skin Retouch Pretty good overall. The trick to skin smoothing is to balance the highlights and shadows and bring them closer to the average skin tone. Less contrast=less depth=smoother skin. you're hitting the highlights a little hard and the shadows not quite hard enough. Image one below is a comparison between your original and final products on the left, and the original and my final on the right. The presence of of the grayscale areas shows where you have made broad alterations to the texture, rather than fine adjustments of just the shadows and highlights. (Some of the grayscale areas are due to broad toning of the image.) You also have some heal scars in the neck area in particular. I'm also posting my (incomplete) 30 minute version of this file for reference. You're on the right track, keep practicing and your hand will lighten up as you go. Cheers, Michael
