Old Russian Church Photoshop Impressionist Plugin

The Photoshop Impressionist Plugin is one of my favorite Photoshop plugins. It can work pretty good if you choose the photo you want to apply it to carefully. I tried it on a photo I have of an old country church in Russia. I'm not sure, maybe I over sharpened the photo too much. I wanted to try and bring out the brush strokes some. Some of the fence posts and church edges seem to be a ittle too sharp, but I think the impressionist affect comes out good.

Re: Old Russian Church Photoshop Impressionist Plu

I think you overdone brush effect on the very top of the church, where the strokes of the tower are flying in the sky. I think, if i was a painter, i would not make the strokes flying separately from the cross.
Im not a fan of the paintings, but generally (except the central tower) it looks very nice and accurate. Well done!

Yes, the scaffolding around the done where there are restoring the church did get a little warped, but not really bad I think, thanks for looking and for the comments, just more or less just trying something out and seeing what works and does not. Thanks again.
