Re: Just starting out

Was trying to figure out before and afters without flash for various sites apparently the ones I needed it for it doesn't work. Anyhow xD heres a before and after of one of the images.

Jessica I agree and do try to even out tone to the best of my ability given my time frame. We general try to have 20-30 photos for each client in a matter of a few days so unfortunately I am not able in most cases to spend as much time on them as needed to bring them to higher end quality. But yes I have been working a bit with dodge and burn. I would love to spread out and do some high end freelance or at least some high end practice so I do grab what I can here and there. Anyway before I start to ramble lol thanks again!

Re: Just starting out

Hi Sierra
just a few points that make help you for future touch ups:
1. Looks great however skin is unnaturally smooth and pore free
2. Yellow cast on the skin could be adjusted, and the shoulder strap on the top should be adjusted so that it's not twisted - this is drawing the eye away from the face.
3. The left side of this image is completely blown out. I would crop this side of the picture off.
4. The skin is unnaturally smooth and pore free. I would also adjust the straps of the top so they do not appear loose - this is making the top look ill fitting.
