Re: My first retouch work ever

Hi, Simon

Welcome to RetouchPRO

Hope you enjoy your stay here and make lots of friends. Poke around, ask questions, have fun !!!

Nice shot of a pretty Model!

If you use Photoshop you can post fairly large pictures which are under 100k using the 'save for web' function in Photoshop as described here:
Size, Quality and/or Format your Attached Images.. (Click here)

How to attach Files/Images to your Posts or Threads:

If you want to post a larger resolution that is over 100K then you can host your image elsewhere and attach a link in the thread, (as you did here ) but also, always please attach an under 100K version (so the thread remains useful in the future, regardless of external links).

I think you may want to literally step back from your work a bit and have another look at your retouch from a distance... It looks as if there was some extensive work done on the forehead and bridge of the nose that stands out as bright, irregular, splotchy areas along with some other uneven patches around the chin, cheek, and collar bone areas that need to be blended in better... it just takes practice cubed and stepping back and away from your work and viewing it with fresh eyes to spot what was missed or is not the way you want it.. The rest of your sculpting looks very good though!! Keep up the good work ... keep posting WIPs (Works In Progress) and let us see the final version...

I had a go with your picture just for the fun of it..

Re: My first retouch work ever

Thank you

Next time I'll follow all the things

Also, thanks for your opinion

I really just love your version in terms of lighting! Was that a correction layer? Because it's quite difficult for me to do all the stuff with light/shadows and not to lose the detail...
About that spots... Yeah, I need to spend more on doing the blending, thanks! Also, I think I need to do some more of colour editing as well
