First Retouch critiques and advice appreciated

I hope the images are high enough quality, I took the photos of myself with a sony nex5, I didnt have any other images to use!
I dont like the shadows on the face, i wasnt really sure how to go about removing them, also the right eye I thought looked too small, I tried to use liquify but it just came out looking strange so I left it alone

I thought I should say I used quick mask to paint out my body ect to apply a guassian blur to the background, I dont know if that was the most effective way to go about it, I did use liquify to tweak the nose too as I broke it boxing.
