Re: Skin retouch.

The model looks familiar...add some sunglasses and you have this (2nd image):

The [unedited] shape of the ear confirms it is the same model...

Re: Skin retouch.

Well, it already looks great(!) , but if you do want to go further, here are the things that attract my eye.

face has so much more magenta then the rest of the image.

loose the hair strand on her right arm

a bit of the dnb on her left side of the face.

her left armpit looks flat yet there are some little blobs on it, and also you could fill that gap in hair over her left arm

dnb the deep wrinkles where her neck meets the body

Re: Skin retouch.

I'm a little late responding here. Looking at this from the perspective of what I would do, I can't say I'd preserve all of the work up to this point. It looks like some minor issues were introduced to the image in post. Some of the highlights aren't working for me, like the lips are going a bit too far. I'd make sure that's not clipping. I'd get the whites of the eyes and teeth to be slightly more neutral. Some of the shapes in general just aren't working.

I'm not making a full list. There are a lot of things I would do, but they'd all be smaller changes. It's just it might be quite a few small changes, so the difference could still be quite noticeable.

I'd probably even out some of the transitions a bit and tone down a few noticeable blemishes in the skin just to list a couple things. I'd definitely leave the look of the bony structures in the face especially in the forehead there. I hate it when people remove them. Quite often it's common to even out the transitions a bit, but it wouldn't work with the lighting style here.

Re: Skin retouch.

Thanks Kav!

Honestly im having trouble with the transitions of hightlights to shadows. i gues you are right about the lips. i tried to make it more glossy and i guess i overdone it.
im glad about everything you noticed and i still have a lot of room to improve.
If you can, could you please mark where i would have to improve the retouching on the face?

Re: Skin retouch.

I'm not doing a full markup as it would take a very long time to go over everything. I also don't know how the original looked. I can look at this, and I see what look like they may have been created problem areas. Anyway my general approach would be quite a bit different. I rely on very small moves.
