Joel Grimes-like composite

Hi

Any opinions on this composite (inspired by Joel Grimes workflow)? Background is a HDR image -2, 0, +2, tonemapped in Photomatix.

Thanks¨

Peter

Re: Joel Grimes-like composite

I really like the way you've captured "attitude" from the subject and the overall effect works. I wonder if it might benefit from more texture (smoke/light) in the background and possibly a hint more detail in the face. I've recently been looking at Joel Grimes work I'm hoping to try something similar in the next week or so. Coincidentally the post production process is described in my recent purchase "Photoshop Compositing" by Matt Kloskowski.

How was that book Anthony? I just posted the question on another thread in regards to some other books I was looking to purchase: http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/pho...tml#post308997
