Need Professional Critique For Portfolio

This is a beauty image I've been working on for my initial portfolio. I have been working with retouching for a few years and I am seriously wanting to pursue it as a profession so please give me great constructive criticism please! It's really important to me to get some perspective on my work.

Yeah. All I did was some D&B on the hair. I was going for a certain look in my head but I wasn't sure it translated. The hair was the only part of the image I had any real doubt about.

What would you suggest I do with the hair?

That is much better because the edges look more natural. But the body of the hair is still flat. When you darken the skin shadows to deepen the shape of the face and the hair stays flat it creates two much of a contrast between the two elements. The original hair is also flat, but so is the face, so they look natural together.
